Origins:

Originally an unfinished project I started for the 20 SECOND GAME JAM 2023. Inspired by the caving experience in Minecraft where it becomes harder to look for crafting materials like coal, in an inventory that's always filled with random goodies and junk you had no idea you picked up. I kept working on it until it became a playable experience!

Gameplay description:

You are a cave explorer in a sandbox game who gets cornered by a beast. To survive your encounter, you have 20 seconds to rummage through your cluttered inventory and craft all necessary items. The beasts will try to halt your progress by attacking your cursor and obstructing UI.

The game has 5 levels that can be completed with different rankings which can unlock customization options.

Controls:

The controls rely solely on mouse inputs and motions:

  • Pick up & Drop - Right click
  • Drop a single item (When an item is picked up) - Left Click
  • Open chests - Click chest and move cursor rapidly
